14 v6 supercharged mustang update

A couple of things: I have been averaging exactly 19mpg with both city and freeway driving (mind you the times I've been on the freeway I've been in mostly traffic so it mimics city). I have not done a test of pure highway driving with no traffic pretty hard to do in so cal. If this does make sense great, I can see why mpg is low, but if this seems odd to any one, please let me know what's up.

I am still on stock wheels, but I will soon be going to 18's. I am not planning to swap gears again here in la I don't think it'll make a difference.

And why is it that I've been waiting for a gt or ss to get next to me anywhere either freewy or stop light, but it hasn't happened!!! Other v6's are tempting me but I don't bite. Heck even Honda Civics with annoying exhausts are daring me lol.

man, you should've gone turbo
I got those numbers on e85 haha

and wow, still on stock wheels? way past due for an upgrade. Get something grippy.

as far as suspension, you need to get the ball rolling. maybe start with LCAs?

I'm with Ale, gotta get some new rubber.

Having the stock rims and tires after supercharging is like loosing 300 LBS but still wearing your jeans with the stretchy waistband.

Idk. I always thought Bullitt wheels looked ok on the 05-09s. On the 10-14s, not so much. But that is just my opinion.

I'm with Kevin on this. The 13-14 still has the retro look but it is more a modern retro. IMHO, another example is the Roush hood scoop versus the regular hood scoops. The two scoops to me look entirely different on the 05-10s versus the 11-12 / 13-14. Bullitt mags vs the Boss/GT500 mags illustrate this more, at least to my eyes. The bullits look good, they do look better on the 05-09's but they still look good.

Elk, I bought a used procharger but it didn't come with the crank pinning tool/jig. By any chance do you have one? Could I buy it or borrow it from you?

Thanks,

Chris

I know this is blasphemy and completely unamerican, but I don't like bullitt wheels.

I say go black AMR.

Black bullits with chrome or silver amr's. I think either one will look good. I even think the antricite bullit wheels will look good.

Get 18s, the tires on 19s are a lot more expensive.

Update guys: Just purchased 19" staggered black bullitt wheels and mickey thompson tires, front strut brace, and a catch can. Kinda hefty, but I bet it'll all be worth it!!!

Alex,
How about sending some parting gifts for such a purchase lol
