For all that wants their V6 to sound like a V8

I just gotta get one of these because my car just sound like great sounding 3.7 V6 and I want it to sound like a fully modafied GT-500 and look good too with a supercharger sticking through the hood.

Same concept as an aftermarket exhaust, just presented in a different form. It makes your car sound like something that it didn't sound like from the factory. This thing + aftermarket exhaust = same thing.

lmao
If you said ghost-cam tune, then maybe. but to throw "aftermarket exhaust" in the same category as that is absurd.

Maybe I should have said axle back exhaust? Doesn't do anything performance wise just makes the car sound different.

But switching your exhaust out for something aftermarket isn't artificial noise.. Your car is still producing the noise.

Yeah you are going to lose this one bud. But I get what you were saying.

I think where you lose that statement is saying it's the same, when as Nate said this thing is artificial. Axle back is still your car. You still need that motor to make the noise. Axle back is how that noise is interpreted.

This boom box on crack makes a hybrid sound like a completely different car. Apples and oranges in my humble opinion.

The Borla is a straight through design, the stock mufflers are chambered. Read Borla's FAQ's. There is a reason UPS uses their exhaust system.

The relationship was "sound".
But anyway...For what it's worth, when I installed my Borla muffler my normal idle RPM dropped about 100 rpm or so. (I had already had the shorty headers on at that time.)
So it's affecting something besides just the sound.

I'm also going to get blasted but I am seeing better city gas mileage. I don't believe it's hypothetical either. Oh well

Better Highway mileage also, BTW that is from the free flowing design.
The looking Better was enough for me, the extra noise and bump in fuel mileage was extra

Hehe, that is cute. I have one on my RC truck....

I have some Magnaflow axlebacks I am thinking about selling. They are more of a noise item than a "go" item. Straight through design and loud... Piss ol' ladies off loud.

My mileage went down... For some reason I can only get 240 out of a tank.... Haha
Heavy foot may be the reason.
