Sad day...

I no longer own a V6 Mustang. Had to say goodbye today.

Thanks! I am kinda sad because of all the work I had in it, like the lights and quad exhaust, but I've been wanting a new one bad. Funny part is I went to the dealer just to have the coolant topped off and drove a new one home lol.

Nice car! I'm kinda in the same boat have a 14 v6 base I've done a lot of work to like upgrade to leather seats, minor exhaust, Etc. I really do love the car but test drove a GT a few weeks ago just to see and it was amazing. The PP with the 3'73s is really unbelievable. Even down low has enough power to throw you back in your seat

for the V6 owners it is torque that amazes. I like my 6 but having driven the 8 a few times it's astonishing to have that much pull available through out the rpm range. nice upgrade don't forget your roots.

Yep, the one thing missing from my 6 was that lovely torque! I didn't realize how much I missed it until I test drove a '15 PP. I knew I had to have one eventually. Miss my '92 coupe something aweful, but this new car takes care of that!
As for my roots, I started way back in the day with an '81 four banger lol. Loved that little car too.

wow that's awesome man, congrats! I think I'll wait until 17 or 18 to get the new gen, so hopefully by then any kinks are worked out.

Not to be " that guy" , but yes be that guy. Did you happen to get any parts off the car before you traded it?

Nice!

I have honestly been thinking about a V8 '15 the past couple of days, the new style has really grown on me, but like you said I'd have to start all over with mods. Even though I don't have many, I think I'd miss not having coilovers too much.

Just my sub and amp. They would have given me less had I taken the mods off. Weird, I know, but it was a difference of $2k.

That's why it's called a hobby lol.

Yes, they are kind of a pain to clean, but I keep after them so they don't get too bad.
