Threads like these bring me back to all the "can I use the Termi blower on my car?!?!" from 94-04 V6s to the pushrods to the 2V etc... Got to the point that the Tork Tech was actually brought to market and there were even a few dudes doing M90/M112 kits for the pushrod for a bit. Most notable was "Joeystang" who got in over his head and just said "**** it" and screwed a bunch of ppl over who had already paid for his kits.

Just FYI, once you start getting into putting power adders onto a 3.7 you will quickly get up into and over the pricepoint of what a base model 5.0 cost, especially if you got a 3.7L Premium.

I believe he was. Stock bottom end at least. He didn't tear it open and build up the internals until later.

I think LPF had their 3.7L up into the 500whp range to see how long it would last. AFIAK they pulled it in good working order because it just wouldn't die. OEM parts these days seem to be pretty damn stout. Unless its a Dodge...

Hellcats are over-rated. I will say though, the Charger Hellcat looks ****ing sexy.

I'd never own one though. I'd get a GT500 first if i wanted a cruiser with a lot of power. Unless i had buckets of money.

If I had buckets of money I'd get a Viper simply for the fact that you NEVER see them.

But agreed on the GT500 for a cruiser with a ton of power.

That's because you've been cheating on us with a Camaro.

I think they are absolutely gorgeous cars. They are stopping production on them in the near future correct?

There is nothing impressive about the hellcat in factory form... its a giant engine with a giant supercharger. Want me to really blow your mind lol, my 2001 miata has more horsepower per liter than the hellcat.

Hellcat: 8.5L (6.2 engine + 2.3 PD blower) for 707 hp = 83.17 horsepower per liter
Miata: 1.8L for 155 hp = 86.11

Next.

Also that Miata will probably beat the Hellcat around a road course.

They are, 2017 model year. Such a shame. If I had the money I'd get a Viper. I love that brute of a car.

I'm a fan of miata's they are great cars, but the hellcat is a damn tank but it's a sexy tank with a massive engine, personally I don't go for huge engine and tank body but it's still pretty cool to see something that big an heavy engineered and haul ***

Clydesdales are big and great looking, but I would hate to feed them too. The value in a car is how it suites the owner's needs. For the type of monies the Hellcat and Camaro get, I would rather get a GT350. Until that time, my 3.7 has a lot of capabilities I need to exploit.
