2014 lower grille

I replaced the upper grille on my '14 convertible and am going to replace the lower. Does it just pull out like the upper or do I have to take the bumper cover off?

It's not as easily pulled off. I would pull the splash pan be get at that way at the very least. Easiest way honestly is to take the bumper off but that can be a daunting task to some.

Ok, guess I'll try the splash pan first. I really don't want to pull the bumper.

Pulling the bumper cover off isn't too bad. I had to pull mine off to change my upper and lower.

I just installed the Roush lower grille and I removed the stock lower grille that's in this video:

Roush 421496 Mustang Grille Lower V6/GT 2013-2014/Boss 2013

Click on the "Video" button at the lower right side of the web page. It worked for me without taking off the bumper

When I changed mine out and installed a Boss 302 lower grill, I masked
off the paint in front of the grill so it wouldn't get scratched when pulling out the old grill, then just grabbed ahold of it with two hands and yanked it out. The new one just snaps in effortlessly. No need to remove any splash pans or the bumper cover.
