Compass Problems

Anybody out there have this issue?
We have a 2014 V6 coupe, the compass in the radio display reads goofy. North is north, South is south. West is east, East is west. Tried the recalibration in the manual twice. Don't have a big parking lot up here in the woods to drive in a circle on. So I just drove around our little village. Would appreciate any advice.

Sometimes it sorts itself out on its own. I've had it go wonky for a day or two then resolve.

Mine started to do this after I unhooked the battery about 2 weeks ago. Hasn't cleared up yet. I guess I need to dig into the Owners Manual. Seem to remember a section on it.

Hope you all get a good laugh at this.
Ya see, I'm a tall dude, so the mirrors in most cars and trucks are too low and mess with my vision in the windshield. So I always flip the mirror upside down, this gives more adjustment to move up higher out of my line of sight.
Guess where the sensor is in Mustangs. Feeling kinda silly right now. Compass works fine now. So I can try learn to drive with my line of sight impaired or have a compass that has east and west mixed up. Pretty petty problem huh?

That's funny, but how tall are you? I'm 6'4" and have no issues with my mirror.

I'm 6'2". Also an old log truck driver. Log trucks don't have center mirrors. I know it sounds silly, what can I say? Just one of those things.

It's not silly. I did the same thing in my old explorer to keep the mirror up out of the way so my radar detector wouldn't hang as low and still have buttons visible.
