Had a 64 Fairlane with a built 289 and 4spd back in '72'. That thing was an animal.
Had 4:10's and could bring the front wheels off the ground. Was racing a 58 Vette with a 283 fuelly one night, grabbed second gear and "holy cow", car went all goofy. bent the axle tubes at the pumpkin. Yes you can bend stuff if you try hard enough, anyway I can!
