v6 vs stock s4 vs c250?

Sup guys,

So we got a couple guys here at my job who like to mess around with their cars. We have two Stock Audi S4's, one Mercedes C250, and my Mustang V6. Everyone is stock, im not. I have my CAI, tune, 4.10 gears, O/R H pipe.
Out of everyone here, what do you guys think the leaderboards would look like? Should I even try against teh S4?? I know they have some good power and if they tune it im done lol but stock?

Track day will be coming up within the next few weeks if we decide to go

I saw a few videos of it beating a GT and then the GT beating it I know its a fast one. Maybe i'l keep up with it but i doubt i will smoke it. The C250 Maybe. I beat him once because he downshifted instead. Mind you he has paddle shifters. how does that happen? lol but never the less, he got a CEL after that and we had to postpone the next race. Still havent gone, i wanna get my new tires first but running stock tires I should still be good.
We are all 2012's btw

Yeah when I raced a 2016 ss he said only reason I beat him was because he missed a shift but he was in a automatic. I just laughed in his face.

That's just crazy to me, all you have to do is push the paddle. It's just hard for me to understand how you miss gears in that when it's hard enough for me to miss gears with a manual.

Why would you have your hand on the downshift paddle In the first place? If your going straight I wouldn't run the risk of downshifting when it's close to redline

The only way to miss a shift on a factory car with paddle shifters is an accidental upshift. The controller will never allow you to downshift when it is not safe for the driveline.

Now, if we are talking about a full on race car, it may be a different story. Some are electrically controlled, others are a clever mechanical linkage. The mechanical linkage will allow an over rev.

Proving to my fellow racers that the disdain that some GT drivers have for V6 drivers is unfounded, one results archive at a time since 2013.

What could it have been then? He told me he downshifted and his CEL came on and said that its happened before and the car wont rev past a certain limit until it clears. he showed it to me. The next day it was gone.
I would figure it would have some sort of safetly measure along those lines

The PCM detected a critical issue, and triggered limp in mode. Could be triggered by an erroneous map or maf (not sure which those use) reading, weird knock frequency, crazy short term factor, or lots of other things. Check the code next time. It was not an over rev.

S4 is quick I got mad respect for Audi's I got a friend with an RS6. The Benz is going to be at the start when you decide winner. Without looking up I would say the S4's would win because like others elude to... Mustang drivers have to drive lol. the Audi would have the same 1/4 almost regardless of pilot

And that is why I don't race in a straight line.

Personally I think they're just excuses if you ask me.
