Best bet is to look out for a 13-14 V6. Prices have CRASHED on them lately with all the rental fleets coming onto the market. You should be able to pick up a low mileage one for 13-16K. I wouldn't pay more than 16k.

However I did find a 2014 V6 Premium with 13,000 on it for just below 19K. Going to go look at it in a few days.
fwiw, I bought my 14 v6 premium convertible 7/15 with 21,000 on it for 22k. It was the best price within 50 miles for it and came with the stone interior (black exterior). Couldn't have been happier and very friendly to upgrade. Heck, you can even buy the motorcraft part for like $10-15 to give it automatic lights.

Looked up specs. Would you say it's odd that while I have the puddle lights, I don't have heated seats or power passenger seat (which should be included in comfort package)? Did they put in the lights by accident....lol.

Could have been added by the previous owner. Was it on the sticker?

I believe I have a copy of the sticker somewhere. I'll need to go dig it out. It's a shame Ford changed it so you can't easily look it up.

Not knowing what Philly bought but IF it was an ex rental they'll sometimes make up special packages for them heck "special" packages are common.

IE the new Ford F150 New England Edition

I have never been a fan of buying a car in it's first year of redesign. Get yourself a 2014 and save a few grand and give Ford a few years to work the kinks out of the new line... by then you will also be in mod heaven.

That's some great advice! I mean the 2014's vs the older models is almost completely different! I can't even imagine how much different the 2015 will look in the future.

I special ordered my 2013 GHIG v6 manual Mustang with no options
other than the upcharge for the GHIG paint. I paid about 21 K for the car then
styled it to my own taste with Boss Grilles, stripes and rear spoiler, aftermarket wheels, Roush hood scoop and front spoiler, side scoops and rear window louvers. I love the way it runs and handles, love the gas mileage, insurance rates
and that it takes regular grade fuel. The v6 has better handling as it isn't so front heavy, and there's acres of room under the hood which makes the car easy to work on. It's my weekend fun car and I don't drive it every day......My commuter car is
a 2000 GP GTP Pontiac 2 dr. I have a lot of older collector cars that I take to car
shows, and sometimes just for fun I show my Mustang.......It almost always wins
first place in the late model Mustang classes, and has beaten Shelby Mustangs
several times at car shows......which drives the Shelby guys batty! No way I'd ever trade it for a V8 Mustang!

I did. Knocking on wood right now.... I'll love her no matter what though.

If she ever goes away it will be replaced by a 13 or 14 GT, after that I'll be working backwards in years.... Love the S197 platform.

fuel economy, weighs less, safety features, crash ratings are higher, new warranty, suspension...

(I know I shouldn't run my big mouth, since I only have a 2006, but I can't help it har har)

Actually, the S550 is 300 pounds more than the S197, so there goes your weighs less out the door. Lol. The warranty is better? Due tell?

the 15+ are quieter inside, I can tell you that; smoother over the little bumps & interior quality is loads better, too.

Hardly see any gold stangs. They offered that mustard color I believe in 2010 and 2011. Quite ugly in my opinion which is my guess why you hardly see any

I agree with you. The only time it would be a investment if you could find one priced under market value and then flip it for a profit.
