random pops inside the car

anyone else ever notice when just sitting in the Mustang, there's random clicks and pops coming from somewhere under the dash? I always hear them and i have no idea wtf it is.

When sitting in the Mustang do you have your engine running? Do you have your A/C turned on? Does the pop or click nose occur when you turn on / turn off your air conditioner? Do you get this while the car is moving or just standstill?

lol...so ok, the car can be off or running. it's like a click sound, and it sounds the same everytime. it's not the plastic and stuff contracting and expanding from heat, it sounds like a very specific thing that comes from under the drivers side area of the dash, maybe near the floor.

i hear it randomly, but can't figure out what the hell it is.

I do get a click sound from my ac blower when I turn it off. I've noticed this happens only in cold. You might be seeing the same thing ? Try turning your ac off and on and see if you hear the click.

I typically get the same reoccurring noises from what sounds like the cooling/heating system duct doors changing position. (Different make car but none-the-less.
After turning off engine and sitting for a few seconds.

it's legit a random little "plink" noise lol i can't record it either because idk when it will happen. eh who knows. whatever. hahaha

I'll bet u a new GT.
Sure the little gears are worn out, or there's a little arm that is catching or sticking.
A valve could be sticking, or there could be moisture, & it's sticking until it warms up & loosens.
