Tuner and intake combo

I've been looking at American muscle and was planning on getting the intake and tuner combo, I've decided on getting the Bama x4 tuner but don't know which Cai I should get, C&L has had good reviews and as well as Airaid, but I've seen a few people have problems with Airaid over time. Any suggestions on which one is better or if there is even any difference between both. I have a 2012 3.7

I say stick with your factory airbox and just get the new tuner

Get a tune from MPT and keep the factory airbox in place.

^every thing that they've said.

CAI will net 0 gains. It will just sound neat.

Tune is the best first mod to do. It will really wake your car up especially if it's an automatic.

Just bought the combo from Steeda a few weeks ago. It's a different car ('14 v6) with the tune. Very happy. Great and fast service. Had loud exhaust on already so couldn't tell a big difference with the CAI outside of the suction sound on load, which is neat.

I wouldn't say that the cai will have zero gains, but the thing you have to consider is iat's. When cruising, you will have gains with less restriction, but with any sitting in the staging areas for instance, the iat's will rise and that's where you will be hurt.
