Well that blows. I was wondering where he's been. Really cool guy very down to earth.

Him and I were at the point where we were talking about personal matters.

He will be missed. COME BACK MAN!

Kevin is good all. I texted with him the other day. (Got worried like many of you also.) Just like someone else said, he was ready to move on.

He is OK. He does not have an Instagram. He hit a hard stop with modding and such. He still has his ponies though.

Sometimes a "hard stop" on mods, etc happens when you are married. Houses & babies, preempt mods for awhile. There will be time for mods later in life.

Please....mods are valueless, expensive and at times hurt the value of the car. I'm done modding...I stopped after a gear, tune and CAI. If I was going to pour money in it I would buy a GT. But I'm not on here because I'm modding...I enjoy the information exchanged and the conversation. The next best thing to driving my mustang is talking about it!

As a former staff member (under Brent) I can only cringe when I see those repeat/silly threads. I tried to manage them as best as possible and kindly recommend the search feature. It does work quite well. A monthly or annual membership fee would probably reduce a lot of that, but it could also reduce new membership and cause the site to become stale, as so many other forums have become. There are a ton of great members on the site now that might not be if it is fee only.

Having been on this site as sonicpony03 since 07, and another handle before that since 05, I have seen this site grow immensely. The addition of the Mevo app really boosted usage and traffic, which is a good thing, but sometimes fills the boards with clutter. I think it's a balancing act that you current mods do pretty well.

Oh and I am probably one of a few that still uses a computer 99% of the time.
I know people have seen my favorite party trick, where i dump the 100000000 other "what intake should i get" threads into the thread where the billionth person is asking "what intake should i get?" Takes 5 minutes yall... 5 minutes,

My hunch is with AM offering discounts to members here, that ME makes enough money with that partnership alone to sustain itself. The impressive part is if this is the case, ME doesn't keep people from posting criticisms of AM... which a lot of forums wouldn't do.
Very true. Many sites that I've moderated on have a policy that posts or threads never get deleted; they get moved to a "trash" folder, so that the site can show its thread/post traffic count to prospective advertisers or sponsors. When a thread or post is moved to such a folder, it does not get seen by members anymore, but still exists in the way of "counts".

I'm one of those as well. My old eyes are not as good these days, so viewing this site on a small handheld, and trying to type messages with these large fingers of mine is darn near impossible! It's a computer for me as well.
