Need louder exhaust

Hey Crew!

I have a sixer that I install some Borla Touring axel backs about a year ago. I regret not having bought the S series. Besides the obvious in upgrading my exhaust or trading it in for a GT, what can I do to get a louder exhaust note?

Thanks-
-S

Change your mid pipe to a catted x or h, that will make it louder.

Poke holes in the exhaust piping.

Need louder exhaust

Long tube headers with an x pipe on you touring's are a great match, shoot for that or get the lethal h pipe with bbk shorties. Mac is a good company too that offers long tubes and a pro chamber mid pipe.. Or if money is no concern, check out the American racing headers on cjponyparts or latemodelrestoration I believe it's $1500 for the tubes and matching mid pipe from ARH not including freight

Wow. That had more growl than I expected. May convince me to reverse my MAC setup plan.

Get roushs and lethal offroad h. Some kid had them coming into a meet and fooled everybody in certain rpms that it was a coyote.

Thank you guys for the great advice. I initially bought the Touring Series because I didn't want be too too loud. I was excited to then have a better note than the stock exhaust, but as time goes on I wish I would have gone a step up. So it sounds like doing this budget conscious, if I get the BBK catted X pipe I would get a good bump in the exhaust note. I read reviews on AM and most people were happy with the upgrade.

It's all about taste and I rather have Bassani LT headers x pipe and axle backs that setup sounds the best IMO
