Thinking About Swapping your 3.7 for a 5.0?

So I was researching some information on these 3.7 engines and came across this information, which is a couple years old, but should put to rest a vast majority of the questions regarding why a V6 to a V8 swap isn't worth doing. That is of course unless you're just incredibly stubborn, have money to burn, and want to take on an expensive and pain staking project.

Basically taking a brand new car and tearing it apart will never be a cost effective solution. Even modding a new car really isn't cost effective compared to buying an older car and modding.
