Auto headlight switch

Just came across this the other day while browsing Amazon. Didn't realize this feature was that easy to add. Paid about $28 after taxes and shipping. Used the searched feature and nothing popped up so if there's another post like this my apologies, just thought this might be useful for someone who wants the auto light feature that doesn't have it. You can search YouTube on how to install. Part # Motocraft SW-6649 headlamp switch. I think there's another one that doesn't have the fog light but I bought this one because it had more reviews and it doesn't affect how it works.

Don't you need the light sensing part for it to work in auto mode? Or is it included?

All 2011-2014 Mustangs should have the light sensor already. They just lack the headlight dial/knob.

Really. Well that's a no brainer then...

That was the first mod I did to my 2014 Mustang... unfortunately I've already decided to install fog lights so I had to buy the one with fog lights now and that means I have a total of 3 headlight switches for my car... one without Auto, one with Auto no Fogs, and the one I'm going to use.... one with Auto and Fogs

I'm not a fan of the fog lights, only reason I was even considering them at one point was for the auto headlight option that came with it. I didn't know it was as easy as changing out a switch.

You'll also get lights when wipers are on (after a few seconds).

I am going to have to do this! Didn't realize it was as easy as switching the switch!
