Two tone color for my sterling grey

Hey guys I haven't been here for a while but I'm back and need your opinion on this idea.. I would like to get my car painted in two tone color glossy black on top and stock sterling grey in the body.. I have a buddy of mine who will do it for me for 800-1000 range. Now I'm debating if glossy black would look good on my car or is there any color in mind you guys have and please share.. I got this inspiration from this picture and this is my car right now as it stands.. Thanks looking forward.

I would say, go gloss or matte, but don't do a ton of both. My car has a good amount of gloss back touches to it.

I know this does not directly answer your question but wanted to throw these pics out there just so you have an idea of Gloss Black accents w/ Sterling Grey.

You also have the 2013/2014 Decklid to add Gloss Black. I have my muffler tips a glossy black also.

Thanks man, yeah I'm going with glossy black with red pin stripes to break the color.. But I'm considering also some loud colors but I don't know if it's a good idea.. Like competition orange, or candy red..

The most eye popping thing I have on my car, is probably the tri bar fender badges. As they have red, white, and blue. (Not really eye popping but the only thing that stands out)

I just like the subtle and aggressive look.

I have seen a couple S197 painted where basically the fender lines are. There are a couple Foose ones in town like that. Dont ask me why maybe a quirky me but I almost always like the lighter color on top.

Also, I think a more dramatic color would be cool as the greak and use that for subtle interior and or exterior accents. Like grabber blue, GHIG, or comp orange.

Here is a couple. The blue silver is one of the two in town. cant find a pic of other though so grabbed a couple offline. BUT, as I searched I saw quite a few with dark on top and I gotta say I really liked allot of them too. Accent strip to carry around as a subtle car theme I really like too though

lots options. I do like that line used, like the cutoff from one to the other. there are some good photoshop guys around. If your on social media post up try to get someone to do a rendering of what you like. good to see visually.
