Driver side door squeak - HELP!

So I have taken my door panel off three times now and I cannot for the life of me see or figure out where the squeak is coming from. When it starts squeaking it sounds like it's coming from the upper middle of the door panel area, and when I push against the door panel in that area the squeak goes away.

It's seriously driving me crazy and I'm hoping someone has had the same experience but was smarter than myself and figured it out.

Just make sure all the screws and stuff are back in properly. When I took mine apart awhile back, there was one near the middle of the door that didn't want to go back in.

glue/tape a spacer on the inside of the panel where you push it.

Tried that, didnt work. I also secured the door lock stem since it was wiggly but that wasnt it either.

I almost think it's the top edge that hangs on the doorr itself. I wonder if I bought some felt and taped it along the top edge?

Maybe, That is the only thing I hate about taking things apart. They seem to never go back together really secure like it used to be. I still get a small noise from the A pillar when I wired up the mycolor door sills.

I'll try the stick foam. The door squeak was before I ever took the panel off, but that doesnt mean the previous owner didnt do it. Its weird as heck, cant visually see anything that would cause a loud squeak like that. Sounds like i have crickets on crack in my door.

Lol Negative, fellas. I like to make my cars as rattle/noise free as possible. Heck I have wall insulation under my back seats!

I may have found the culprit... One metal screw clip where the upper torx box connects behind the door handle. It was loose as hell so I put a small piece of 3M tape behind each side of it before I put the door back on. Fingers crossed!!!
