Anyone had AC issues?

AC doesn't seem all that cold to me. It is cooling slightly but seems like it should be much colder. Any suggestions?

I thought mine was going bad a few years ago. Put it on 'Max Air', should freeze your butt off . If not, something is going bad

Yeah, tried the "Max Air" setting. It cools slightly but should be much better.

You could be low on refrigerant. My 2012 had a leak in the high pressure line from the compressor and needed to be replaced. Use a black light to examine all your lines, Ford puts dye in all their cars and it will glow greenish yellow if you have any leaks. You will know soon enough if you have a leak because the compressor will stop coming on when it gets too low.

Good info. They put this dye in from the factory?

Yes, according to this article all Fords since '94 have tracer dye from the factory.

Mine was leaking from a joint in the "muffler" piece in the high pressure line near the compressor. The replacement has no muffler or joints so that won't happen again. If yours has that muffler check the joints carefully with the black light.

But both the R12(brand name of Freon) and the currently used R134, are Refrigerants.

Oh and don't mix them unless you know what you are doing.

LOL I think maybe just the older people.
I remember Ajax for cleansers or brillo pads for scouring pads, etc.

Used the black light and could not find any leaks. Clutch on the AC kicks on. The passenger side is blowing 62 and the driver side is 70. It's about 80 ambient here maybe.

2012 V6 base

Thinking I just need to get some gauges and see what I have?

Freon was a little low. Recharged and it's kicking *** now. We'll see how long it lasts.

Keep an eye on it, you might have a small leak somewhere that will explode 2 days out of warranty
