Exhaust testing?

anyone else wish there was a big store where you could drive in and "try on" any exhaust mod to see how you like the sound before spending $400+ just to find out you sound like a honda?

Lol I don't understand how anyone can put an exhaust on a car and not know that it will be raspy.

Exhaust testing?

We do that. Friend's C10 we lined up 8 mufflers. Listened to all of them and picked the one he wanted.
But as Nate said, "RESEARCH!!!!!!!"

Research doesn't even come close to hearing what different setups sound like in person.

It certainly helps!
But I believe the OP's statement was purely a fictitious scenario.

Magnaflow was the first muffler company that made an axle back for or 3.7L in 2010. I bought them because i wanted to 'hear' something coming out the butt of my Mustang.
