Increasing Leg Room with rail extenders

I am looking to extend the front leg room on my 2013 V6 Coupe and saw rail extenders on CJPonyParts website that allows an increase of 3 inches. Does not sound like much a difference but some reviews were from owners taller than me that love the change. The parts are somewhat cheap (under $50 for two rails per seat - so total out of pocket would be around $100), but the bigger concern is that the install seems to be a big pain than the instructions indicate. Was wondering if anyone on this forum has or knows someone who has installed such rails and thoughts. As always thanks for your time and feedback.
