I bought some $20 ones off ebay and one burned out in 60 days... Cant go cheap on those. But you have to modify the light casing which is a serious pain. I did a write up on it a few nonths ago.

So there's no such thing as a plug n play when it comes to modifying them huh?

The issue I had is the housing has some weird metal half dome inside. The LEDs would only create a thin rectangle of light, barely visible. I took the housings out and heated them up and popped them open, then grinded the half dome out. After that they shined very well. But like I said the LED burned out so I popped the oem bulbs back in.

Just ordered LEDs from amazon so we will see if they hold up, That yellow light is hideous.

That looks awesome. I love the lights in the hood scoop.

Thanks! I'm actually considering unplugging the grill lights and just rolling with the scoop set to white and see what happens.
