Exclamation Making my 2012 V6 faster

Ok, so I am almost 16 and I have a 2012 white V6 mustang. Yes I know it's very plain jane but I have always wanted a mustang since I was very little. Can you guys help me figure out what I should do?

Thank you

Do gears, exhaust, tune, and suspension. If you want any decent bump in power, you're going to be staring forced induction on the face at some point. But the main bolt ons will net you a much more spirited driving sixxer over stock.

Thank you lol. The best thing you can do is read, read, read, read, read. This platform is the better part of like 6 years old now, every single question has been asked, answered, and beat to death 100+ times.

The best way is going to be to search this forum through google, for example you would type:

"3.7 mustang intake mustangevolution" and it was pull up threads on this forum discussing intakes.

"3.7 mustang gears mustangevolution" to search this site for gear threads... you get the idea. Read, read, read, and when you think you know everything read some more. You will get a lot of opinions on here, and quite frankly that's what most mods are, opinions. There is no "best" anything so it will be up to you to decide what fits your needs.

Yea I used to be gung-ho on helping people out. But the more I take a step back and watch now, the more I see people just wanting answers handed to them and no one wants to do any research and reading anymore.

Heck, that is ALL I have been doing since I got my 2016. I have been on AM's site reading reviews, watching youtube videos, etc. I think I have watched all of AM's and CJ Pony Part's exhaust clips by now. Some even twice! lol

I hear ya...
I've only had my 2014 for a couple months now and I'm always researching my next move. Reading, watching videos (even ones I'm not planning to do) just so I'm informed. I've only found a couple things I don't want to do myself but at least I know how they work.

Exactly and very respectable. I will sometimes think of doing something but once I see the how-to video, I will cross it off my list

The jump from the S197 3.7 to the S550 5.0 is huge as far as differences. So I spend a good amount of time just researching what can be done or used on the S550s. And let me tell you, I am still a noob when it comes to it.

Also look at joining your local Mustang Club. A wealth of knowledge and experience usually.
