K&N Filter

So I put one in my engine a couple days ago and have to say it is a bit different. It seems to shift better and I kept my original with only 13k miles on it. May switch back just for comparisons.

Are you referring to a K&N drop-in filter?
Keep in open mind when trying to feel a difference, as that is probably the only place it will make a difference.
Or are you talking about a K&N CAI?

No CAI as I don't think it would be worth it without a tune to go with.

2014 Mustang V6 Premium.

The general consensus agrees with you on that.
I do recall an independent dyno testing with a K&N drop in filter vs. the stock filter resulted in lower performance for the K&N.
I just don't recall whether it was a GT or a V6.
I'll have to find the YouTube video again.

EDIT: It was a GT, Here it is...Didn't find the actual video.)

Not worth it. I think i saw a dyno on the v6. I believe the K&N drop in filter lost 2 or 3 horsepower.

yeah i read the k&n wasn't that great, so i went with the afe dry one. expensive, like 70 bucks, but it's reusable and no oiling required. made my car feel a bit nicer and the whoosh sound was a bit louder.
