That my friend is legit. I love metallic paint because it hides small imperfections like fine swirls. I bet that paint looks amazing in person!

My feeling is that there is more to caring for a car than just paint swirls. How is the car driven? How is it maintained both mechanically and aesthetically? Are problems addressed promptly and properly, or is there a "it will get by for now" attitude? Those are things that will vary from owner to owner, but probably don't have much to do with how many cylinders the engine has.

However, I'll go ahead and post the requested paint pic... bear with me, as I rarely post pics on here, I'll eventually get it right. Picture was taken in the garage at night, with the overhead incandescent lights on. They show up as orange reflections in the paint. Camera was in a close-up mode with the flash on:

Do you mean Doyal's car or mine?

I bought my '14 new and have just shy of 38k miles on it. Last May we did a 6300 mile road trip, including running coast-to-coast in less than two days. It's made quite a few trips to the west coast and back home to Missouri. While it doesn't have swirls in the paint, I have to admit it does have some rock chips on it's nose... and they will be repaired once we finish our summertime road trips.

But right now, it is getting some well-deserved rest in the garage... until the next trip to the Rockies!

Fair 'nuff.

If I had a GT500, I wouldn't put near as many miles on it as I do my little V6. It would spend a lot of time in the garage next to my motorcycle that barely gets 2k miles per year...

Doyal, that is a nice car!

Doyal, that is a nice car!
If I had a Gt500 I would drive it as much as any other mustang, V6 included. Gt500 is not some super rare 2 million dollar automobile. It's a 65k car at most when new and not even sure the 2011 Gt500 non convertible was that much but it may of been.

It's a beautiful car just like any other mustang expect the S550's but it's a car. Cars are meant to be driven. I don't drive my mustang as much as I want too and have 55k miles on her.

You sir are misinformed and confused.Thats funny you think that only car enthusiasts own and like V8 engine vehicles. I'm actually very much a car enthusiast. Since when does an engine size have to do with one being a car enthusiast?

So, if I understand you correctly, people who own GTR's are not a car enthusiast because it's an automatic V6. So, people who own Porsche's their not car enthusiasts because it's a V6? So, people who own the Ford GT Ecoboost V6 are not car enthusiasts?

Wow, that's amazing bro. I had no idea only a car enthusiast could be a car enthusiast based on it being a manual and V8 engine. Thanks for educating me on that.

You figured I didnt know how to drive manual because you are being you. So, what makes your snake so special?
