(New Mod) Boss 302 chin spoiler

I just finished installing a Boss 302 chin spoiler on my mustang. It really gives my car the aggressive look I was after. The spoiler itself is a very high quality part. Which is to be expected of a Ford OEM product. It also gives the illusion of my car being lower, which was a pleasant surprise. At the end of the day I couldn't be happier ! ! !

I had one of these on a 2011 Mustang. I had to educate myself to back into parking spots to avoid damaging it. I ended up buying one of these:

Worked great, until I hit a piece of shredded tire on a highway, and it ripped the front sensor off!

That's not a bad idea bucko. I was paranoid pulling into spots before the chin spoiler. I will definitely look into it, thanks.

tbh, i think i need a new chin spoiler. since changing my grille to the gt without foglights and doing the mesh, it reminds me of the boss style, but i need that big *** chin spoiler to help with the agressive look. how much was it?

I put one on my old TrakPak along with the Boss deflector and at high speeds the front end no longer had a "float"....put it just looks really nice. Black on Red looks the best in my opinion. The Boss deflector is quite a lot stronger than the original GT deflector.
You certainly have to watch curbs...mine was lowered with Sportlines.

Front Boss 302 chin spoiler is not cheap although buying OE parts that look great and fit right.....makes it easy to install....IMHO

Unfortunately as stated above, it's not cheap. I got mine from Late Model Restoration. The regular price is $639. I ended up using a 7% Memorial Day discount code. I paid $595. So I felt a little better about the price. As much as I didn't want to spend that much on a chin spoiler, I just couldn't resist! Click image for larger version

Come on guys....did you even look at the links I put on this thread???????

I paid$550 for both the spoiler and the deflector and that was with freight....you can't put the spoiler on without the deflector and the one you have on your GT now is a piece of garbage and made out of a fiber with rubber coating.....

The Boss 302 spoiler lists for $533 and change....you can buy it from Autonation and they are the largest Ford Motors Parts dealers in the US of A. They sell it to you for 34% off or $352 and change....that's $200 off. The deflector list is $218 and change and again they give you 34% which brings the price to $144 and change. I bought mine through them and with freight only paid $550 for both pieces to the West Coast....I'm not saying Charles took a bath although he did leave almost $50 on the table.....and this is Autonations everday price. Have you ever priced the GT500 rear valance and OE GT500 mufflers.....here is what AutoNation sells them for all day every day! I bought 3 sets for myself and my friends....you can't beat their prices for OE Ford Parts...period!!!

That quad exhaust looks nice, so does the OP's chin spoiler. Spend your money how you want, you worked for it.
