Automatic Wires in a Manual

So while installing my bluetooth unit behind my stock radio I noticed that there was an extra connector under my center console that was not in use. After some researching a discovered that this connection was for Automatic Stangs that have the PRNDL light up on the shifter when the car's lights come on, since I have a manual this is not in use.

My question is even though nothing is plugged into this connector is it still receiving power? For example if I want to add LED to the cup holders and foot wells would I be able to tap into the wires for this connector and receive power or do they automatically stay dead since nothing is plugged into the connector?

Yes it is. Sorry didn't get to it this afternoon but that is it. On a manual it won't be plugged into anything, I read it was for the PRNDL lights on an auto
