Post Any Heads-up Display Users Here? Need some Feedback!

Hey all,

Thinking about backing Hudly (HUD company on kickstarter) that has their projector separate from the combiner glass and works with polarized sunglasses and operating temps up to 170 which is going to be a must for my move to Texas...

What do you guys think? Anybody using HUD right now care to comment on how useful it is on the track or for GPS/apps?

They just never took off. I wouldn't want to have the goofy looking plastic screen on my windshield anyway. My next car 'might' be a Corvette , the factory heads up display works pretty good on them

The feature I want most is the GPS/applications projected onto the screen like this unit does. (Not to mention not everyone can afford a new corvette just for the HUD lol) I've heard a lot of built in HUDs have trouble with polarized sunglasses which this one claims to have figured out too.
