They look like my ceramic ones. The chrome should have turned colors a long time ago. Any chance they sent you the wrong ones?

Agreed, the plating should have turned by now.
I remember when I got them they were shiny and looked like a chrome finish, thats what I otdered from AM. Aren't the ceramic ones a dull less shiny finish?

Yes. The ceramic ones have that dull finish.

I'm unhappy with the low end torque on my 2012 3.7 and was wondering if the shortie headers made a noticeable improvement in torque on your car or did you make other changes at the same time?

It make a difference but not a huge difference. Do gears instead that will put a smile on your face!

shortie headers made a nice improvement on my V6 but the gears where an awesome difference! I went from 2:73 to 3:55 and the takeoff is totally awesome now. Not quite as thrilled on the highway thought, I went from 29 MPG to 26 MPG. and that's driving around 65 MPH instead of 80 MPH. So I'm going to slow it down a bit on the highway due to MPG and exhaust noise. If I was to do it again I might try to 3:31 gears because they seem like a better compromise given all the highway driving I do. What gears are in yours?

Just did a road trip and got 26.99 one way and 25.2 the return trip. Difference was more A/C used return.

3.55 gears and 73mm throttle body and using a 91 performance tune (road trip so didn't want to restrict myself to finding 93 fuel.

This was calculating myself cause the gauges said 25.5 and 24.2 so apparently it doesn't calculate as well.

I have the stock 2:73 gears with the 6-speed. I'm debating weather to sink money into this car or buy a 2018 5.0. I had a 2011 5.0 before I bought my 3.7 2012 and I miss the V8. I'm leaning towards the 2018 or perhaps buy a 2017 California Special that a guy I know has and may want to sell next year. He worked for Ford and mentioned he may want to dump his Mustang next year; I know he got a good deal on it and hope he will pass the savings on to me. So many decisions to make.

Buy a GT. I love my V6 but I want a GT someday. Purely for the sound of the exhaust. Sounds silly but I really love that sound.
