After almost 5 years with my 13.

It will be 5 years next June, wow how time flys, that I have had with my 13 3.7 and it STILL puts a grin on my face when I drive her.
I still get that excitement when I have to go do errands with her like its still the first week after I picked her up from the dealer.
Can anyone relate or are you looking to trade in?

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

I know... Next June is 10 months away. Too early to be considered almost 5 years when you just passed 4!

I completely relate to this.
I can not wait to run an errand.
And walking from the store back to her in the far side of the parking lot I smile all the way.
It will be 5 years in Feb.

I feel the same way. I've had my 2011 since May 2010, 6+ years and feel the same as the day i picked it up. I only have 26,000 miles but still love my Mustang

I'm with you.
I bought mine in 2011 and still love it every time I drive it.
I still look back at my "RED RYDER" after parking and walking away.
Mario and I just got back from the American Muscle Show and the car was perfect in every way.

I don't even think of any other car to replace my 3.7 V6 Automatic Mustang.
Here are my total trip expenses if you did not see my other post.

Gas tank full when left the Gas station in Port Orange at -0- on trip β€œB”

13 PP Race Red 3.7

I bought mine in May of 2012. It only has 16 thousand miles and it's garage kept. It has about $4,000 and modifications including a 4 inch aluminum driveshaft. It's not my daily driver and I don't get to drive it as often as I'd like to however when I do it always puts a huge smile on my face. The magic of that 3.7 Lincoln engine in a Mustang was overshadowed by the coyote, however I really know how special this car is and I don't ever plan on selling it.

I bought my 2013 on March 28th 2012, about 1 month after they started rolling out of the factory.

I love my Mustang still!

But I miss her terribly.

It's been over two weeks now that she has been exiled to the detailers. Why is that you ask? Well you didn't but now I'm going to tell you my horror story anyway.

I was done in by a stray cat!

It must have slipped into the garage on a Friday or Saturday when I parked my Mustang. It was there most of the weekend. And I had my windows down.

Yes. You called it. That damned cat didn't just leave footprints everywhere in and on my car. He also sprayed the back seat. All of it. By "spray" I don't mean cat pee. I mean that dark, horrid stuff. BAD STUFF.

I have the premium package. That means leather seats. And I had purchased AutoArmor Ultimate Protection, 7 year warranty when I bought the car. I thought wow, secure against blood, vomit, tears, and worse things. I'm covered!

No. I'm not. See, those things don't cover SMELLS. And the leather seats have holes in them to allow them to breath. So that cat spray sunk RIGHT INTO the foam in the seats.

The good news? Insurance does cover this. I have comprehensive still, even though my car is paid for. Lucky thing too. Because just the new seats alone are going to be WAY over the $500 deductible. What the total cost is, I don't know. Don't care. I'll pay my $500. I just want my car back.

(The loaner is a Focus 4-cyl flex fuel. It makes me want to shoot myself.)

i absolutely hate the paint on this car, so i just don't feel the same love i used to feel back when i first got it. i'll never get black again.

Wow,
That is "BAD" news and a horror story that should not have happened to anyone.
I like cats as well as all animals but they sure can mess up a car.
My friend Tom bought a Black Camaro and the stray cats already have scratch marks on his paint jumping up on top of his car.
He is now getting rid of his carport and putting up a garage but it takes about six weeks to get the garage built by the Amish and delivered. I told him to get a cover to protect the paint while the garage is being built.
I just could never understand why all of these so called cat lovers would not have their cats fixed.

I can relate with the paint. I love black when it's clean but it's hard to keep that way. Aside from that the only other regret is not getting the performance package.

I've considered trading it in for something with more power and would probable do it if I made it to the track more but for right now the v6 is great for a fun DD and have yet to test drive anything I love enough to trade my v6 in and that the depreciation hit.

I'm just gonna keep my "Red Ryder"

I'll probably keep mine until the engine wears out or I wreck it. I'm perfectly satisfied with the performance I get as well as the handling, ride and the way it looks.
If I decide I want more power or performance, I can always get a tuner.

Anyway, Mario would probably bite me if I ever traded this car for anything else.

I loved my 2012 3.7 while I had it. This month would of been my 4th year of owning but a few months ago I was T-boned. the car was claimed a total loss. and I was already scheduled to get my lpf turbo kit installed. which obviously couldn't happen anymore. The 3.7 was a fun and reliable car, even tho i pushed it everyday. but being in the situation I am i will probably switch and start over on a new platform.

I only wish i was able to drive it with the turbo kit

Well I've had mine for just over 2 years now and did feel like I should have bought a V8. So yesterday I picked up my new SRT Challenger but loved my V6 Mustang so much I kept it. So no trade.
The Challenger's a bit heavy but you wouldn't know it with the 485HP.

After almost 5 years with my 13.

I've had my 2014 for 5 months now. Still dream about the 2015+ interiors but love the look and back seat of my 14. Just about finished with my build now so don't think swapping is an option anymore.

Agree on the Accord. And agree that black is a great color when it's clean. But always seems to get dirty. I have had my 14 V6, 3.7 Premium since it was new. I look back always. It is great using the sport shift once you get used to it. Click image for larger version

My father has a Roush Charged 2014 5.0 and it's an automatic. It has the sport shift mode and that's really cool. I have driven it and really like the sport shift mode. Wish my 2011 had the sport shift mode! 😯

I bought my 2012 Mustang MCA convertible, 12.500 miles, 2 years ago in California moving her to France last year when my expat contract ended up. Every time I drive her, It makes my day, I enjoy. This is a very exotic car in Europe, this fifth generation being not imported by Ford. The 6th generation is a worldwide car built for European or Chinese guys, not a real American pony car I think. I belong to a Mustang club and once per month we visit the most beautiful parts of my Rhone Alpes region.
I would love to buy a 2013 or 2014 5.0 convertible but I can't imagine trading my beloved V6 with 23.000 miles only.
Will visit Friends in California next March and maybe purchase a second oneπŸ˜‰
