BAMA tuner

Alright I'm doing it. I'm back to school so my bank funds will be running low in a month or so, so I want to go ahead and get me a tuner before I change my mind. I'm hooked on the BAMA one Because of the tunes for life and I just want to know if anybody has anything negative to say about it. All I have is an AIRAID CAI and ford racing axle backs. There is already a tune on my car but I have no idea what it is.

Bama tunes are great. Never had a single days trouble with them. If your looking for the best tuning company for our 3.7, MPT is the champ. Nobody tunes better than MPT for the 3.7 however Bama is a close second. This is not a shot at Bama because I love their tunes.

Just love MPT a bit more.

I have both MPT and Bama tunes. For daily driving there really isn't a lot of difference.

As far as racing, at the track I found that my MPT tune is a little quicker though.

I semi daily drive my pony and the MPT tune is a bit more fun over my Bama tune. The shift points are just sick with MPT on the race tune.

With that said Bama Tunes are a great choice and I would recommend going with them as well as spending the extra $100 for an MPT tune. I have Steeda tune, MPT tune and Bama tune. Hands down the MPT is the most fun and best one of them. Followed closely by Bama

No, the best thing to do is return the car back to stock and start over.

He will need to have to computer reflashed back to the factory specs. A Ford dealer or reputable mechanic should be able to return the car to its original tune.

That may not be the only way, but it is the only way I know.

Well now I know what I need to do! But one more question...I have the ford racing AB and they sound pretty good now with whatever tune I have, do you think it will sound better with a 93 race tune? And theoretically I don't need to get it reflashed do I? Can't I just swap whatever tune is on it with a new one?

I just have plans for future mods and I know I need to get a tuner anyway. Plus there is the off chance a new tune could be better
