Ride Height?

Almost finished installing my Air Lift Performance Kit and was curious what everyone that's lowered sets as their ride height?

I am more curious in people that are using this or a similar system or coil overs so they are adjusted to their desired height.

I know people suggest a string and weight taped to the fender so just need a SAFE height to set so that I won't damage anything turning.

Here's aired out in the front only.

Not too many people with the air lift, looks cool by the way. I only have a 1 inch drop with springs on the front and it measures at 27 1/16 inches from the ground to the lowest part of the fender. This might give you a basic ideal

^ This is good advice, the bagged community is all on instagram, or maybe a facebook group.

Thanx, I'll check into Instagram when I have time later.

I've messaged a forum member with this same kit and he's helped me but this question isn't just about air suspension.

Coil overs allow the same adjustments. It's just more labor intensive to change and basically impractical in my situation so I want to set the height for daily driving.

I just wanted to know how much clearance I need to safely turn the wheel when not at stock height.

lowering springs about an inch front and back, 19" wheels and she stand just fine. wouldn't mind dropping another half inch all around though. Click image for larger version
