Fuse 47

Hey guys i accidentally dropped fuse 47 and i cant find it? Can i drive the car with it being removed?

I would not drive without it. I forgot to replace it once and the engine stuttered and misfired. There is a spare fuse in the fuse panel in the side of the passenger seat footwell though.

I tried the fuse 47 trick just lately. Didn't notice any difference. Does the key have to be on when you do this? Car running or not running with key on?

It only works with automatics since the fuse pull resets the memory for the "learned" shift behavior which causes the tranny to upshift too soon and slows throttle initiated downshifting. I have not done it since I got the Bama V2 tune, I think they found a way around the "feature". I can still conrol my shifts pretty well with the throttle pedal. Oh and it doesn't matter about the key, you are cutting power to the memory module and wiping it..
