Shift knobs

I am looking into getting an aftermarket shift knob, and the steeda/barton/roush cue ball ones caught my attention. But are they any heavier than the stock knob? Because that would def help and justify the 50-70 knob.

Any input?
Thanks

I love the resin white one I got. was like 30 bucks and definitely much less clunky than the stock shifter.

I've read complaints about the alum one and hot/cold temps. It will conduct temp real well. I have one from sickspeed (plastic) which I like. I think it is slightly heavier than stock but a bit less than the MGW one. Some folks like the heavier ones but I wonder how much of that is placebo. You don't actually lift it and the weight compared to the shifter effort seems small.

just thinking on that.
