Anyone have any experience in terms of led side markers. I have led bulbs in mine but I wanna get the full led smoked markers. I?m currently looking at some sold by ijdmtoy.com they look pretty good and the leds seem straight unlike oracles which looked kinda curvy and not straight. What do you guys think about the sidemarkers in led and smoked are they any good?
Don't have experience with that particular brand, but "Any good" is quite subjective. I run smoked side markers with LED bulbs in the 07 and like them very much. Got mine off amazon. The fit perfect, look nice and didn't break the bank, so to me they were good.
Well any good is good light output and fit. I?m guessing they?re gonna be better than what I have now since I just have the bulb in mind with 5 leds and the other ones have like 27 in the front 45 in the back. Fit is the only thing that concerns me now
But if you’re getting the smoked side markers, the light output in diminished. That is just a lighting fact. If you want more light, don’t defuse it with a smoked lens.
Yeah I thought the same thing but looking at all the smoked examples I have seen from diode dynamics and all the other websites that make them they are still way brighter than stock and I was told by the company that makes them that they are as bright as a clear lens. Regardless I think they are still going to be brighter than stock.
I have the Oracle LED side markers and even with tint from AM on them they're still significantly brighter than stock. These things are BRIGHT! They light up the road beside me with the tint on.
If I were to buy again I would go with the set from Diode Dynamics. I've had a lot of problems with the Oracles, and if one more of them goes out I'm trashing them and getting the Diode Dynamics.
