Winter Weather

I don't know about everyone else but the Mustang has been in the garage for over a month. Between the frigid temperatures (-1to -20 below weather), snow and ice the poor Stang has been in the garage for over a month. And it doesn't look like it will be getting out soon.

For those of you who live in moderate climates, WE OF THE NORTHERN STATES will be sending you all care packages of weather to enjoy like we all are. Don't won't any of you think we are stingy.

Enjoy the weather when it arrives.

You can take your snow and cold back, we are supposed to get some today. But my Mustang has been in the Garage since November except for a trip to Florida and back. The Summer only tires really do act like Hockey Pucks below 40 degrees.

You got that right. The Truck is gassed up and ready to go The weather people say 1-3 inches of snow, then by the end of the News they are saying 1-2 inches

I used to, that is why it has almost 70,000 miles on it. Now I clean pools and it is tough to do that out of the trunk.
That is why I bought the truck that is turning white now

I just moved to a warm climate and I do NOT miss the cold AT ALL. "Dead of winter" here and I'm in a t-shirt or just a real light hoodie. Also sun comes up late (like 0815) and goes down at damn near 1900. Apparently during summer its light till almost 2300.

Lol look at my profile.

Andalusia (southwest) Spain. Here till 2022. Then I'll probably try to extend here or move to Germany. Where it is cold... but... I'm going to enjoy the next 4 years.

You should see some of the houses we are looking at. Really nice and like... your own orchard of oranges, lemons, figs and pomogranates in one...

Hmm what are prices like for something like that? Main problem would be my Spanish consists of: "Yo voy la biblioteca." & "el pan" Two phrases that I am sure will get me real far lol

This part of the country is dirt poor, my salary as an E6 with incentives and allowances means I make more than an established lawyer out here. Survives on the Navy base and the toursim industry. Apparently its crazy here from June-August. It should be, the beaches are gorgeous.

Anyway, housing market is way out of whack because of all the rich Spaniards from the North that have summer homes and US Military that have money so these landlords charge a lot more than they could otherwise. We don't care because we don't get to keep the difference in housing allowance. But the locals make damn near nothing...

Here is one we were looking at the other day. Little small on the inside living space... big living room with a fireplace, awesome kitchen, dining "nook" great outside and off street parking with a gate. Bedrooms are big tho and bathrooms are all new and updated. Yard maintenance is included and it has solar panels so the utility bills are almost nil. This means my 650 euro utility allowance which I DO get to keep the difference on would be about $500 extra per month in my pocket plus the $500 cost of living I get out here plus everything being dirt cheap out here=racket.

This house also has a lemon tree, banana tree and olive tree. The other one I looked at had a legit orchard lol.

Flew to ‘Vegas last tuesday, and then drove to Mesquite, NV. to look at homes.
Below freezing at home and mid 60’s in Mesquite....and homes going up at the rate of 10+ a week.
REALLY thinking about it, you know? Between the Mustang and our motor home needing to be in storage for 5 months....it sure would be nice to be able to use both year round. Both are pretty big investments to only be useful to us for a little over half the year....
115 in the summer though has me still thinking......
