park a mustang next to it, i'm sure it will look different. can't really expect to put a normal production car out there though...

Re: The Nascar Mustang failcar

Well in Nascar now all the cars have the same body and everything else on the front is stickers. This looks computer generated so maybe the real deal won't be so ugly.

Not only that, but they all use the same block to build from, the 426. So basically they're just putting different tweaks here and there and different names on the front of the cars to differentiate them. Btw, it's photoshopped, has to be.

Re: The Nascar Mustang failcar

Actually the engine block is 340 cubic inches and then bumped to 358 cubic inches.

HowStuffWorks "What makes NASCAR engines different from street car engines?"

I'd love to see them go back to using factory based engines like in the old days. I think Robert Yates wanted to use the crammer motor at one time.

Re: The Nascar Mustang failcar

Since we have the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger all in production at the sametime again we need the Trans Am series to make a come back.

Re: The Nascar Mustang failcar

I don't think you get what I am talking about. I am not talking about the Pontiac Trans Am I am talking about the Trans Am racing series, which featured the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger like in the picture I posted. GM actually had to pay the racing series so much amount of money for each pontiac trans am sold.

Re: The Nascar Mustang failcar

Thank you Spector. I like most everything on the 2010 but that rear is HIDEOUS. It's like taking Jessica Alba and slapping Rosie O'Donnells *** on her.

Don't you say that no no no no no. What I think every one is not liking about the 2010 rear is all that black plastic crap that Ford added on the car. I love the tail lights but you just get distracted by all that cheap looking black plastic crap around the car. Look at the rear end in the renderings when the spy shots where out.
