Re: The return of the 5.0

Yah, they definitely did a good job. They gave the engine bay a clean, modern look but still kept it muscular and pronounced.

Re: The return of the 5.0

Brand new engine, I believe. The new 5.0L should be replacing the V10 Tritons as well as an alternative option. Also the 2011 SVT F150 Raptor will be getting the 5.0L Boss/Hurricane Motor.

Re: The return of the 5.0

Actually a 6.2 V8 will be replacing the V10, or that is what I hear. Those really big gas engines are dead now, GM just quit producing the 8.1 big block.

Re: The return of the 5.0

Edit, the V10 will still be offered in the F450 and F550 Chassis Cab only, the new fuel economy regulations likely done this.

yea sonic blue is an amazing color but.. on the 05 mustangs they put it on, it just didnt mesh right~ the body of the 99-04 seems to fit it by far the best.

This is very true...I didn't like it on the 05's either. I've seen it on fox bodies and sn95's (custom paint) and it just doesn't look as good to me. The soft lines of the sn95's really didn't mesh right.

Oh hell yea! If I get a SB termi, I'll have a hard time choosing wheel colors: black w/ chrome, chrome, anthracite, hypercoated, they all look good with that color.

Re: The return of the 5.0

My lease for my 08 GT convertible is coming to an end in April. As soon as I hear they are going to be taking orders,I am going to be placing an order for a 2011 GT. Don't know if I am going to get a convertible again or not.
