Thumbs up Updated Mod Photos on my 2010

Well, since checking in here last I have added MGP Caliper Covers custom painted in U6 red candy metallic...they are the ones that say "Mustang" and "GT" on them...

And I've also dropped her with an Eibach Pro Kit.

I absolutely love the look and the ride is amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it!

Re: Updated Mod Photos on my 2010

when you lowered it did you need to get an alignment right away, if so, was there enough adjustment in the stock setup to align.

jrny99, I just bought the ProKit that has Springs only for now...with my factory shocks being brand new (3K miles on them), I'm going to let them wear out and then replace. The ride is great and it doesn't hurt anything.

I suggest driving it a little right after it is lowered to let the springs settle. They will settle in and drop just a little more, then check the alignment. I drove it around town a bit and put maybe 50 miles on it, then had it checked. It wasn't out much, but needed a little tweak, and there was enough adjustment in the stock setup to align it just fine.

After putting the spacers on the rear wheels, I noticed that the rear axle was pushed a bit towards the driver side. (Normal on our Mustangs, from what I'm told.) Adjustable rear panhard bar enabled me to bring it right back to center with no issues.

Looking good! How do you like your caliper covers are they worth the 200?

I get comments on them all the time...and I love the look with the color match...so if you've got $200 to burn on them, they're cool.

My install was rough, because of how tight the rear calipers are in relation to the rotors on the 2010. The clips rubbed the caliper and made a grinding noise on the rear that drove me nuts. I actually had to fab the rear clips that came with the caliper covers with a cutting wheel to shape them so that they didn't scrape the rotors. It was a trial and error kind of thing that took awhile, with taking off the wheel, fitting, re-installing the wheel, driving it around the block, etc. I had a lot of time into it, but it's perfect now. The folks at MGP were great as to customer service - I had those guys calling me on my cell phone on the weekends checking in to make sure it was getting handled. They are great people.

On your car, you shouldn't have the clearance/fitment issues in the rear that I did...should be a 30 minute install, depending on how fast you are with the floor jack and torque wrench. lol

Give us pics when you do it.
