Brand new 2010 Mustang Gt...and the Passenger seat won't slide

The title says it all, just bought this car and my passenger seat won't slide. Any thoughts besides taking it into Ford?

you pulling up on the manual lever all the way? Thats the only thing I can think of, sometimes they can be stubborn until used a few times, if you are pulling up a good bit then it may be an adjustment thats needed, the dealer should do it no problem.

I hope you enjoy the car though!

Yah if you can't get it to work out just bring it to Ford...that stuff should be covered if it's brand new. I had an issue with the passenger side seatbelt on mine, and it still had the remainder of the warranty, so I had them replace it.

Lol, yeah, I pulled up pretty hard, will be taking it in next week. Still...sad day, other than that the car RULES.

My 08 passenger seat is a monster to move, I actually have to push it from the back while holding the handle up. Good thing I don't have to move it much, usually only when I am cleaning the interior.

Yeah, but I hear they added new seats in the 10's...seat seems light and like it should slide easily.
