Ordering a 2011 + using X Plan

Does anybody have a clue-that is-have you set down at a dealership and gone through the ordering process? I am thinking about ordering-and using an "X" Plan to purchase-so I go to the Ford store and they create some kinda form that says "not an invoice" at the bottom-with some tentative dollar amounts-including a, d, x plan pricing-to try and give me some kind of idea-"when I get more serious"-they will get down to a "more real pricing quote"-anyone have a clue what the discount, using X Plan is?
Thanks.

Re: Ordering a 2011 + using X Plan

I read on another forum that someone ordered a 2011 with an X plan. I am not sure what it is though, he is on svtperformance.com in the 2011 section.

It is just a set price and apparently there is no wiggle room on negotiations. And it is probably the lowest price your gonna get. I looked it up for a 2010 and it is 1000 promotional retail bonus customer cash. whatever that means. I've heard it is THE way to go.

I have an x-plan too. No idea what the end price will be until you sit down with a salesman unfortunately.

Just a hint from what I've been told is negotiate the lowest possible price before you disclose that your an x-plan member. They have to give you the x-plan discount but they probably won't be as negotiable in the initial price if you disclose to them your already going to get this discount at the very beginning.

Re: Ordering a 2011 + using X Plan

I too could have used the X plan under the business that I work with. It is a set price. For example, under mine it says a GT with a 401a package is as follows:

Coupe GT Premium - 401A $31,790 $29,934 Valid Zip Code Required. $29,934

Here is the plan:
Ford X Plan (includes most new Ford, Lincoln and Mercury or Volvo vehicles)

1. Call 1-877-XPLAN-00 or log on to www.fordpartner.com
2. Provide the (COMPANYS NAME) Supplier Code, your social security number, name, address, city, state and zip code.
3. You will be provided with a Personal Identification Number (PIN)
4. Visit your participating Ford, Lincoln, Mercury or Volvo dealership and identify yourself as a Supplier Partner Recognition participant.
5. Provide the dealership with your social security number and PIN number to confirm eligibility.
6. Provide the dealership with proof of employment with Sherwin-Williams by supplying either a copy of a current pay stub or employee ID badge.
7. Select your vehicle from existing dealer stock (certain models may be excluded)

That's about an 1856.00 discount.
When I originally posted this topic, I had just been to a dealer and was given some paperwork-with "tentative" build info. It looks like they were dealing in an honest fashion-regarding discount, with "X" Plan pricing. I am pleasantly surprised.
