TB Spacers....

So I was checking around on AM and saw that they carried two different types of TB Spacers for my 2010 V6 Stang. I was looking them over and one claimed that you can get up to 8hp/8ft lbs of torque.

Does this sound right to you guys?

Also, I've heard that Steeda is a superior brand to Stack Racing. Again, does anyone have any information that could be used to prove otherwise? I know it's only a few dollars more but still.

Re: TB Spacers....

TB spacers don't work period. Not on fuel injection. A spacer under a carb. works only because it makes the intake runners longer. Thus giving the air and fuel more room to mix. With EFI fuel is injected directly into head so it doesn't matter.

Re: TB Spacers....

No problem.

The best bang for the buck. Would be an intake & tune.

Then gears and a locker.

Re: TB Spacers....

HAHA.

It really does make me wonder how they can claim up to 8/8.. I am almost tempted to buy it and do a before and after dyno to see if it really does anything. LOL

Re: TB Spacers....

well they say it can make up to xx hp and xx tq. they don't say it will.

I know of a LS1 that picked up 5 hp on the dyno by taking the TB spacer off the car.

6 here (28 years total)...and I too would need many of those spacers...although I did just do a purge of old equipment at the end of this season...

Re: TB Spacers....

Yea, I need to do the same. I haven't actually bought any new equipment in about 7 to 8 months and the bowling balls I have now need to be resurfaced. I remember when buying a bowling ball cost about 115 dollars.. Now they are almost 279 a ball..

Re: TB Spacers....

I haven't bought a new one since the Buzzsaw Pearl Cherry bomb came out. My go to ball is a hammer reaper 2...close to 8 years old now. It needs another resurface...or at least just a good cleaning and a polish more so that full resurface.

95% of the newer stuff coming out is way more aggressive than I need it to be...so I just haven't bought anything new.

Re: TB Spacers....

Ha. With all of the different type of lane patterns, conditions, and retarded bowlers, the balls have to be aggressive. I have one of the new Cell balls and it's funny. It will work on some lanes and then it will go straight as an arrow on others. People always ask why I carry 4 balls and that's the reason.. I love bowling and volleyball. They are the very few sports I am actually good at.
