Night-Mare. As a back up, I have the Black Pearl and a Jack Sparrow hat with the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song loaded on my iphone in case I really want to make an entrance.

Josie! I named her in honor of my late father and his beloved Josephine (Ford truck).

It could be worse - I had a station wagon my friends called the "huffster truckster" because it reminded them of the car in national lampoon's vacation!

Re: So, "fess" up-have you "named your car"?

Black Sunshine... Only because of the excerpt from the White Zombie song: "Gripping the wheel his knuckles went white with desire. The wheels of his Mustang exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45. True death, 400 horsepower of maximum performance piercing the night! This is Black Sunshine"

My buddy & I used to blast that song all of the time when we were teenagers. He would talk about owning a Mustang 1 day and blaring that as he did top speed wherever he was going. I lost touch with the guy before end of high school but the teenager's dream lives on years later.

Re: So, "fess" up-have you "named your car"?

ALL mechanical objects... planes, boats, cars, guns...get names. They get female names because they are complicated and expensive

There was a study a long time ago that found that people who named their cars took better care of them.

'03 GMC Sierra Denali...Joline
'02 Chev Silverado... Daisy
'98 Mustang... Ashley
S&W 99... Natasha
Bushmaster M4... Xena
'00 Gary Fisher Sugar...Charlize

I name mine after actresses or book characters so I don't fall into the "you named her after your ex" trap.

Well, because it was a front wheel drive, could you have called it a MoFo?

Tell her you should invest in a boat, then she would have good reason to coin a better name for your ride.
