Sadly the 2012 doesn't have the dark silver anymore I'm actually torn on the colour choices it's really between Kona blue with lava interior with possilbly silver vinyled stripes and Black with black blue interior and probably vinyled blue stripes decesions decesions

I've got the '11 GT in with red interior. It's awesome. I like the Kona color stripeless though. If you are set on stripes, Have you thought about red ones? That might look awesome with the lava interior.

BTW I had to walk around or borrow my dad's Pontiac until I was 20. Enjoy whatever car you get. At 16 it's a privilege not a right to have a car.

See em both in person before. Grabber blue in pictures is a lot more vibrant than in person. Looks sky blue in pics in person it has a touch of purple. Pretty crazy

I know, right? I haven't heard of anyone that has an "anti-used car policy" until today. You can get great deals on used cars and most of them look and drive like a brand new car.

Used cars don't lose 20% of their value as soon as you sign the paperwork!

Ok now you are pushing it, there is no way U saw a 2011 GT for 21 grand unless it was a salvaged title or something. Was the person selling it a crack head.

It was a 2010 GT. I made a mistake. But still...seems way underpriced.

Just busting chops buddy I know you meant a 2010 GT. By the way the only reason I want the newer cars honestly now that I think about it is for the looks. They have a 2010GT for $25000 that was never sold with 983 miles on it and I might buy it and then blow it I kid you not. Black with a Brick Red brownish interior. The car looks sick is heck, definitely a neck breaker. I even liked the interior better than the BMW m3 I sat in that same day. I'M not looking for the fastest car in the world. A 2010 gt with a blower ( not the Roush M90 piece of crap), would satisfy me. Plus I can afford it. Plus the 4.6 3v short block is only $1800. at Late Model Restoration if I blow it. Pocket change to me.

I think you should go for it! There is barely any exterior difference between 2010 or 2011 gts. Im sure the 2012 will be the same too. No one will be able to distinguish it from a 2011. Or even go with a 2011 v6. It has a dual exhaust system.

Re: 2012 mustang

I think you should get the GT... i'm 17 right now and 3 months after getting my license when i came home from prep shcool my dad bought me an 05 v6. sure it was used and only a v6 but i have turned this thing into a totally different machine. i have been saving up too so i can get an 11 GT because now that i have this one i want to go bigger... get the best so u never have the possibility of wasting your money trying to get a better one like i'm doing. when i have the GT i can finally get it, turn it into the machine i want it to be and then that's the end of it.... get it...

You are one lucky kid dude, I am 16 and have a 2011 V6. I would have gotten a GT like you are getting, but I screwed up in school too much.

Enjoy your 12 GT.

My first car was a 89 mustang gt, got it when I was 8 because my dad also bidded on a 88 coupe, and my brother chose the coupe, my dad already had a 90 7 up mustang, so he gave the 89 to me. Well, I also learned to drive it when I was 8, it was a 5 speed. My parents knew insurance would be crazy so last year about this time, I got a 96 v6 automatic. It had been wrecked before, but repaired, and I still didn't like that idea, so I sold it and got a 97 v6, that was alot better. It was a 5 speed, well, I was too worried about what people might say because it was a v6, and me losing a race to a ricer, when I don't have any business racing on the street anyways. So, about a month and a half ago, I sold it and got a 89 coupe 4 cyl conversion so it would also be cheap on insurance. If I could, I'd take the power loss and go back and get my 97 because it looked better and didn't need anything, my 89 needs some things. But I can't. So, if your a responsible driver then go for it, don't abuse the car, but don't miss the chance. Good luck.

Re: 2012 mustang

I would kill to have a v8 right now.... I hate the fact that my 93 is a 4cyl. Would be better if it was a 5spd but it's automatic....

Do what makes you happy! I'm 17 and my dad entrusted me with a 03 cobra with 600 at the wheels. I drive it responsibly and have never raced or anything and there's no reason you can't have whatever you want as long as you realize it can kill you in a heartbeat..

All you young doods:be grateful you have a car . No-don't race on the street-go to the track. No one at this website "cares" that you are driving a 4,6 or 8 cylinder. Big deal.
Enjoy your Mustang-`anyone doesn't like it-let `em pound sand.
