2010 mustang

Hello all, I'm new to the forum. I found a 2010 premium GT at a local dealer for $25,995. I was hoping for some feed back on if this is a good deal, so I could jump on it. Thanks in advance!!

Is this a new gt or used? Before tax or after? Have you driven a 2011?

It's brand new and that's before taxes. I haven't driven the 2011 cause from what I read you'll not want a 2010 lol.

Re: 2010 mustang

Is that asking price? Im sure there's still room to go down but it doesn't sound bad to me. I don't know how much the 5.0 will be going down considering the premium ones are like 38 or so around me. I just can't believe how much these things have gone up in the past few years.

Re: 2010 mustang

I am glad I decided to check out this forum. I was ready to go in and purchase a new 2010 GT on Monday. After reading this, I will wait. My dealer has two 2010's left over and deeply discounted. One is a red GT, no options, manual shift, $21, 977.00. The other is a GT premium, manual shift, electronic system (nav system), track pack, and HID headlights for $27,977.00. I would have bought this one today ($9K off sticker price), but just couldn't come to terms with the grabber blue and rear spoiler delete. The only bad thing is, they only have one 2011 GT; I don't think they will still have it on the lot when the 2012's come in....

Here is a picture of the grabber blue one, with just a peek of the arrest me red.

Re: 2010 mustang

Best advice I can offer. Test drive a 6 speed manual 2011. You will never go back to the 2010 dealer offering. Not because the 2010 is a poor choice just that the 2011 5.0 is a completely different animal from a performance standpoint. Also if you wait for the introduction of the 2012's you will have a real bargining chip on price of an in stock 2011 Whatever you buy V6 or V8 enjoy your ride and have fun.

DONT buy a 2010 its so inferior performance wise to a 2011 if you ever want to mod it etc you will regret it. Save up and buy a 2011.

Re: 2010 mustang

i really dont see the point in buying a 2010 buddy. it makes no sense. why would you want a car that is inferior to the the 2011. go for the 5.0

Save up for the 2011. It'll be worth it.
