My 2010 convertible went from Sterling Grey to Black Matte (video)

Have just recently finished. Although there so many contraversial opinions about black matt color, please have a look at my result. As the job is finished only few days ago, it is difficult for me to deceide and to get used to new look. But first thing i notice is retraction of other people look and surprice on the street. Here is a video, firstly some pictures and later on little drive moments

It was made by local wrapping master. Good job. Thanks Vlad!

Did you paint your stang yourself ? It looks really smooth, almost wet. I wish my car looked like this.

Yes lithuania. When i registered this at car registration office, they said 2010 gt is first in eu, because no other model was on eu system

It is not painted it is cpvered with vynil sticker. All car surface. You cannot tell if its covered or painted from few feet distance because when they apply it do it very preciselly and after with heater make vynil strech and apply very evenly. I am new to the wrap. But it is very popular in our country or russia at all for 645beemers to go flat black this way

that looks good , well done . A wrap eh ?
Does that also protect it from the elements ? snow .
looks a bit cold and winterish there in LT .
Almost has the Stealth look - does the surface reflect radar.
that would be cool here so I could go whizzing past the cops
they would not even know I was there .

Cops ? ) good idea i should try.

For protection of surcafe most likely. But on the road there is salt which eats undercarriage. Most of the cars spray dinitrol or smth similar there

Different. VERY different. To each his own.
I certainly would not have done that to my car-but good for you.
The one drawback-that car's going to be a ***** to see at night. I would be worried that the other knuckleheads in Lithuania/Europe "just wouldn't see me", and that an accident would be the result..

Can that vinyl be removed without any paint damage? If so I'm really digging that job. Looks great.

when its done right it looks good, if its a wrap not actual paint then you have issues on seams and here and there that wont look right~ but if its paint the issue is if its not a flat clear coat it will rub off and show shinny spots which would be annoying to me.

..`and that would be fine, Sir-assuming proximity/nearness, and either the 'other vehicle', is coming 'straight at you'-or-'bringing up the rear'-either way-the "blacked out" vehicle is going to be harder to see -especially in lower visibility conditions-and when 'the other guy' is coming from a perpendicular direction/angle.
