Nice and clean on the outside...

I actually got the car washed up again today. I had planned on a wax but the weather did not cooperate. Finally got some shine on the tires and took some pics with the top down. Took a quick ride through the neighborhood, the Roush Exhaust is crazy with the top down!!! I cant wait till summer!!! I wish the sun would have been out today, but it is still cold and windy... by Georgia standards. At least I have mine out of the garage.... sorry to those that cant. But you chose to live up North.... as soon as I turned 18 I moved to the sunshine and warmth.

I love your car more than I love beer. I have to go apologize to my beer now.

Very nice ride! What is "cold" by your standards, because I would gladly trade you temperatures!

Re: Nice and clean on the outside...

I will see if I can get a sound clip and post it....

Thanks for teh compliments.... Cold.... high 40's cloudy and a 10-15 mph breeze today. But to me anything under 85* and sunny is cold.

I grew up in Ohio... so I do understand what cold really is, I just dont like it.

The good news is that the beer would remain cold outside. But not cold enough.

Re: Nice and clean on the outside...

Yep, well, Matte Black. I actually would prefer them Gloss. I really dont care for looking out the front window and not seeing a shine. Maybe someday I will get them painted on... Anyone want to make a donation to the cause? LMAO

Re: Nice and clean on the outside...

You need to clay bar that ride before you wax it . You won't believe the surface contaminents/'debris', in the painted surfaces.. It looks really nice! I like the satin finish stripes, too!

Re: Nice and clean on the outside...

Yeah I have used the clay bar several times on past cars, it really does get off a lot of contamination. I will probably wait for it to warm up before I get into to much time cleaning it up. A good coat of wax will protect her until it warms up, then it will be a full wheels up, top to bottom cleaning.

Good idea. Wax doesn't 'hurt'. Warm up would be better for the clay bar action..

I do a big show every year at the BJCC here in Bham and the car has to be very clean... so I start early and take my time. Just means I cant drive it as it would get it dirty lol Its cold anyway

Gonna start this weekend and do a little every weekend up till the show.
