FML, the V6 is HURT.

Well guys, yesterday was a pretty bad day for me and my V6. On the way to school, heading south on the 281 access road right across from the Goodwill/Bowling alley area, I was in the left most lane and some tool decided to make a lane change without noticing my 2011 Mustang in the lane right next to him. So, the guys car moves into my passenger side and takes out my mirror, denting my whole car in the process. We pull over and he flys out his car screaming and cussing at me saying I have a yield sign and that I suck at driving. At this point I call the cops and tell them what happened and that the other driver is threating me. The guy get in his car and calls a friend to act as a witness, then starts staring at me all mad and what not.

Long story short, he is trying to blame this on me. WTF? oh well. We are both insured, and I know it was NOT my fault at all.

He got over on you. End of Story. If the police report comes back without him at fault, have them amend it or fight for it.

Re: FML, the V6 is HURT.

He was driving a POS 2002 Gold/brown Buick LeSabre. WTF? He was acting like he hurt his brand new Lamborghini or Ferrari. And the lame part is that the police officer didnt even right a report, because in Texas apparently it is a civil matter and 'he said she said'. So it is up to my insurance to find out who was at fault.

That's probably another reason he was being such an ***. He knew your car was way better and he would have to pay for your awesome new Mustang.

Re: FML, the V6 is HURT.

Thanks guys!

I just got the check from my insurance. It was 3,100 worth of damage, count in my 150 dollar deducible and I have a pretty good space for upgrade parts.

I have to replace my rear diffuser, so I am going to get the GT diffuser from Digital here on LSS. I am thinking about getting the 2012 Boss 302 splitter and front grille, what do yall think about that? I also have to replace my passenger side skirt, so I might want to look into getting the Roush side skirt splitters. Who knows, maybe if I have enough I will get the GT500 SVT wing, but I doubt that will happen.

Since I have to get my stripes replaced, should I just keep the Boss lettering, remove the Boss lettering and put the stripes back on, or should I just get a whole new stripe package? If so, what type of stripes would yall suggest? (I don't like over the top racing stripes at all)

Boss 302 Splitter and Grille

The only time I have ever reached for and waved my glock was on I55 in the middle of nowhere when I had some jacks ****ing (serving at ne, stopping in front of me, and ect ect) with me on the road. I flipped on the interior light and waved the pistol. He slammed on his brakes and left me alone.

Re: FML, the V6 is HURT.

The only time I've ever had to brandish was when this car load of punk *** kids got pissed cause I dropped gears on them for riding my ***. I let them follow me to a grocery store parking lot and 4 dudes jumped out, and I grabbed the Glock out of the center console and let them know it probably wasn't a good idea to act hard that night. Never seen 4 dudes get in a car and peel out so fast in my life!

And that was years ago...

Well, the only weapon I'll keep with me is probably a thick aluminum rod that went across the top on my old 89 convertible. Lol. And that sucks man, but atleast you've got room for parts.

Did u find where u can get the boss 302 grille for the mustang? I saw a site from another forum that mentioned it but i couldnt confirm if they had it cuz their shop was down for maintainance. I just bought the chrome billet grille from ford with the side racing badge from the gt/cs and i think it looks sick. Not a huge fan of the headlights. I like the clean look
