Almost every supercharger has the same numbers:

7psi 525 whp
9psi 624 whp

Or you could google it

624 Is a little low to call "about" 700. Did you have a chance to check out the link I sent?

Are you kidding? I low balled it at about 700. If we went by what most people subscribe to it would be 735 for a 15% or 780 for a 20% loss. 780 hp with just a 9lb blower. NOT BUYING IT and no I haven't checked out the link yet. On a 5.0 thats advertising 412 hp. I'm supposed to buy 368 hp from a blower. Thats an increase of 90% of motor.

I can appreciate your position on believing it when you see it, but I'm sure there are people out there with actual dyno numbers with this setup.

You said that car had other mods. He's claiming 780 hp from a 5.0 with only a 9lb blower and nothing else. Are you claiming that?

Oh no.....Lts,O.R. mid pipe, axelbacks, cai and tune are pretty much common mods with blower anyhow.

Below is what I was talking about and now that I reread this thread 780 wont happen in my opinion.I see where you are coming from now Shelby.

672 rwhp / 529 rwtq with a Procharger P-1SC Stage 2 Supercharger System making 9 psi on 93 Octane Pump Gas.

Supporting mods to make this number :

BBR 3" Off Road X-pipe
Roush Axle-Back Exhaust System
BBR Xtreme 93 Tune
3.73 Gears

I don't think it's 20% 360 from 412 is about a 13 percent loss I think, and I believe the manual is less (around 370 whp)

So 624 at the wheels would be about 705 crank if that's right.

None of us mentioned "safely", just numbers. So what point have you been trying to make? That you don't believe 624 at the wheels is possible?

The point is you're wrong and a simple 9 lb blower will not produce 750 hp on a 5.0 engine. Show me an example of a stock 5.0 with a 9 lb blower making 624 rwhp.

No one mentioned 750, I said 624 whp with 9psi, I'll find sources when I get home.
