Re: 2010 to 2011

So have we figured this out yet?

I was a little confused reading the information on the Ford Racing blower kits as they don't really specify rear wheel or flywheel on their 624 horse power number. I'm sort of assuming since they say SAE they are talking about SAE J245 or J1995 and are talking about brake horsepower.

I think you're right it might be at the crank with their setup, I found another link on my phone that had 8psi and exhaust with 603 at the wheels... Can't find anyone that has actually posted real world results with 9psi and nothing else on a dyno.

That's impressive numbers. That's not the first ford engine that really woke up with boost. I can believe it.

Re: 2010 to 2011

According to Vortech all this adds up to a swift kick up in the 5.0's horsepower and torque numbers. Try 473 pound-feet at the flywheel and 605 hp. Not bad for $4,995.So in addition to the Vortech pieces, there's a Borla stainless-steel exhaust system aboard to melodiously evacuate the waste gases.......(I think thats stock enough, dont you?)

605 up front is more believable than 624 in the rear but the Borla exhaust does open it up for more hp over stock.

This article was written by an idiot, the 0-60 on the vortech stang is the same as the 0-60 on the stock stang. (4.3, not 5 flat wtf)

People with just an air intake/tune and radials run high 11s for **** sake, 12.2 with a blower? Lol!

Less than 5, it's the headers mid pipe and high flow or even removed cats that make a difference.
