The lines are correct but I think with the line looking like that air is going to find an easier path, like the PCV lines and those are metered.

Looking at picking up this part and utilizing the write up for the install. Thanks for putting it out there!

If you listen to everyone nothing works on naturally aspirated mustangs, cold air kit, throttle body ,boss 302 manifold headers, off road xpipe, hpipe coil packs ,so you should just get a supercharger, or turbo. This is just my opinion from listening to people who think that they know everything, I hope I don't offend any of you because that's not the what I'm trying to do,just saying. ...

Wait Rap from reading what you said the '15 coyote IM flows better then the boss and fits the 11-14 5.0? Not sure if I read all the comments right. Would really be interested though if it's a possibility.

It flows better then the boss to a certain point yes. If your still looking for a manifold to go past 7500 then it's still either the boss or the CJ

Does the Boss 302 intake preclude the use of a Shaker hood scoop/air intake?

First thing first stop driving. If it was after the new tune then revert back to the old tune. Contact the tuner shop.

Try someone better than Bama. Look for a local tuner and dyno you can get to. Or at least a dyno and a tuner that can remote in. Changing a manifold takes a little more than a basic e-mail tune. They may work for adding a simple CAI but changing your manifold is going to take at least a few pulls to get it correct. When you spend that much on a new intake, you don't just want it to run but you want a tuner to maximize your power but make sure the engine is running correctly. After experiencing a proper tune, I watched my tuner not just use his laptop but his ear too and got me to a great result.
Just my opinion.

Doesn't look like it's worth the time or money to add the boss

Lost horsepower lost torque...been trying to get better Lund Support, data logs show it running well just not producing power like it should...anyone else see a loss like this?

As noted here by others, a Boss 302 intake won't give you any more power unless it's installed along with a custom dyno tune to maximize the gains that are possible with this intake, which is able to flow more air. To realize the maximum gains possible with this intake you need to follow this part with headers (with full exhaust system using hi-flow cats), cam, cold-air intake and some serious tuning time spent by someone who knows how to maximize your results with the changes from the factory tune. Needless to say, while these things will definitely get you more power they will also void your warranty. In light of these facts, I just went ahead and got a Roush blower. The stock Roush tune supplied with it gives me over 670 HP at the crank plus the safety that comes from thousands and thousands of Roush blown Mustangs on the road which are being used as everything from daily drivers to full-on drag cars with slicks and roll cage.

I've found an intake for 200$ on a local classifieds site.

He is selling just the intake, along with the connected wiring pigtail.

Will I have to order the boss 302 install kit to get the fuel vapour hose and all the stuff in order to complete the install of the manifold?

You do not need the install kit. Save your money. Just go to get the tubing kit off LMR for a few dollars
